Code of Ethics & Standards

The Code of Ethics and Standards was approved and adopted in 2012.

  • Members shall perform quality top workmanship on all contracts. All members are expected to be in good standing with the association.
  • All members are expected to make a good faith effort to attend the bi-monthly meetings and special events.
  • All members shall comply with all rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies.
  • All members shall meet or exceed all the safety standards as set by OSHA.
  • Members shall not obtain any business by means of fraudulent statements or by use of implications not based on fact or reasonable probability.
  • All members shall faithfully execute all contracts with strict accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications.
  • Members shall not perform or cause to be performed any act which would tend to discredit or bring into dispute any part of the Greater Kansas City Mason Contractors Association or its members.
  • Members shall not knowingly slander or discredit the good name of this association or any member of this organization.
  • Members shall not use their attendance at the meeting for the sole purpose of selling their products and / or services.
  • Members will not undertake a mailing or email campaign using membership contact information for the purpose of selling their products and / or services.
  • It is the obligation of every member to upgrade, promote, and advertise the masonry industry to the best of his ability.
  • Just be professional.
